Aamir Khan is one of the very few celebrities that I really admire profoundly, not just for their fame or popularity but for the work they do and how they approach it.
Some of my few true idols from the film industry are Charlie Chaplin, Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, Fritz Lang, Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter and Aamir Khan is the newest edition to this small line-up.
It started with 3 Idiots. I’ve always been a film junkie but I was never really particular with Bollywood because I kind of stereotyped it as being cheesy musicals, then 3 Idiots came. After that I got quite interested in Aamir Khan’s works and who he is…and fell in love instantly.
He’s a versatile actor that understands that acting is an art and not a game of fame, he is incredibly passionate with his art that he takes it seriously and totally immerse himself into the roles and tasks he take - he is a cinema genius, from the scripts he picks, the films he produce, the way he attacks his projects, the way he markets them, his views on current issues and many more.
Lately the current movie industry is being infested by lots of ‘celebrities’ and very few artists, and so when I get to encounter one I instantly turn into an admirer and a fan.
